Angelo Maravita
Md, PhD - Associate Professor of Psychobiology
Degree in Medicine (University of Milan), Training in Neurology (University of Parma), PhD on Neuroscience (University of Verona), Senior ResearchFellow, Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London.
Currently, Associate Professor of Psychobiology, University of Milano-Bicocca.
Main research topics include body representation in the brain, multisensory integration, pain processing, Neuropsychology and neurorehabilitaiton.
Daniele Romano
PhD - Post-Doctoral Fellow
Daniele completed his bachelor studies in Psychology in Milan, followed by a master degree in Neuropsychology.
He undertook his PhD at University of Milano-Bicocca under the supervision of Angelo Maravita, and he had abroad experiences of research at the EPFL of Lausanne (supervisor: Olaf Blanke), and at Birkbeck University of London (supervisor: Matthew Longo).
His current research interests include the study of the mechanisms underlying the body representation, and the cognitive aspects of pain processing either in patients with deranged body representation (Somatoparaphrenia, Xenomelia, Alien Hand, Anosognosia) and healthy people.

Ileana Rossetti
PhD Student
Ileana graduated with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Padova with a thesis concerning sensorimotor integration between tactile information and movement execution. After 1-year postgraduate internship at University of Verona and San Camillo Hospital in Venezia, she is now attending the PhD program at University of Milano-Bicocca under the supervision of Prof. Angelo Maravita.
She is interested in neuropsychological impairment and body representation deficits in major psychoses.

Giorgia Tosi

Giorgia took her Master's degree in psychology with a thesis on Mirror Box Therapy in patients with acquired motor deficit at University of Milano-Bicocca.
She is now a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Angelo Maravita at University of Milano-Bicocca.
Her research interests concern body representation deficit.
